Robert Thomen, PhD

Assistant Professor, University of Missouri-Columbia

He recieved his PhD in Physics from Washington University in St Louis. He earned his bachelors and masters degrees from Creighton University doing research in biophysics and optics. His current research concentration at Cincinnati Children's stretches across the fields of MRI physics, pulmonary medicine, and hyperpolarized gasses. His projects include xenon-129 MRI in severe asthma, characterization of normal airways in pediatrics, and neonatal imaging using helium-3.
